Walk Cycle

This isn't really a walk cycle - more of a run cycle.  Not that good but hey, I tried.  It's a 6-legged (or 2-legged and 4-armed) creature called a Hyradon.  Animating is pretty hard...

Cartoon Human

For my cartoon human, I combined Ellen DeGeneres with Spongebob.  This challenge was hard, and I wasn't sure about how to merge them.  Wish we had a tutorial for this one.

Retouching

More retouching.  Not sure where I was going with this.  Tried to smooth out her skin.  Her eyes turned red and black.  Looks interesting.  There's really not much I can say.  We're Photoshopping people.

Blemish Girl

Her skin looks splotchy.  My bad.  Anyways, we were fixing this girl's blemishes in Photoshop today.  I didn't want to use the patch tool, but it ended up patchy anyways.  The dodge tool can be a bother.  Editing her eyes was unnecessary and fun.  I'm definitely not a professional Photoshop user.

Paint Splatters

Well, this is my paint splatters project.  I found this really cool picture of a runner on Google and thought it was perfect. I found some random pictures of paint for the hair and the arms, and used a picture that Mr. Sands provided for us to do the thing with the feet.  Her left foot looks really cool, and I wish the right foot looked just as good.  This project was enjoyable; the colors made it pretty cool.

Contour Lines

A contour of a marching baritone.  Started at the place where the mouthpiece goes and went with it.  My contour is still a little bit sketchy..  That's the way I draw.  It's fun to contour things like this.
A contour drawing of the school hallway...  And some of the people in it.   The ones I drew of the hallway weren't very good, but hey..  It was a nice attempt.  Sorry that it's sideways, blogger is automatically turning them that way, and I'm not sure what else to say.

All of these are sideways, which is kind of weird.  This is a contour of the still life drawing put in the center of the room.  I just couldn't get the whole still life; I always drew too big.  Very sketchy.
A contour drawing of the room.  Well, the room behind my seat.  There were too many humans and objects in front of me.  I wasn't about to step up to that challenge.  Pretty fun to draw.

Newimal

This newimal is a mix between a strawberry/golden tiger and an orange rabbit.  The rabbit and tiger had.. Slightly similar texture, and were about the same color.  So they were used.  What would it be called, though?  Tibbit?  Raiger?  Who knows.  Creating it took a few days, but it was fun all the way through.  The finished product makes me kind of proud.

Paint Splats

This time in Computer Art, we learned how to put paint splatters on an elephant.  Or patterns on an animal.  Whatever the person in question chose.  There was orange among my paint splatters but somewhere along the way, they blended in with the yellow and red.

Cartoons

For this assignment I chose to use the cartoon character Hamtaro; he's from...  Hamtaro.  Amazing.  The background is the inside of a hamster cage, and there I am, holding a hamster.  A cartoon one, that is.

Colored Bottle

Honestly, drawing a bottle that has curves is much easier to me(Thanks to the group that said they couldn't draw the bottle because it was a little blurry).  The highlights are all over the place and you can just guess where they are.  It was fun drawing and highlighting the bottles.  Not too sure about the coloring, though.  Had it been on that black piece of paper to the left with only a red top, the contrast probably would have looked nice.  Originally I tried to draw some colored pencils distorted by the bottle, but that didn't go so well.  Great activity.

X-ray Vision

We also did another quick project today.  X-ray vision.  You take a picture of yourself and a picture of a skeleton and merge them together...  Not including a few other steps.  The skeleton and my body don't exactly match up, but it was a great thing to do.

Colorize

Today we colorized our pictures.  We made them look all nice and colorful.  The picture I used was a break-dancing person.  I don't have much else to say on the matter...  It was a quick and simple thing to do.
